Maple Steel

Handbuilt steel-string parlor guitar with maple back and sides by Paul McEvoy Guitars.

I built this smaller-bodied steel-string with maple back and sides for a bright, articulate voice.

I photographed this one on the building's stairwell landing rather than in the studio — a reminder that most of these instruments live their working lives well outside a photo booth.
